Hmmm. Elbows fine now and pain free, crooked but 90% pain free. Brompton wheels are wearing out at an alarming rate and expense due to the commute into Burnley.How about - you are a big lad and it is very hilly where you live!
Getting up the 6 miles that is Manchester Rd will get me to being not such a big lad...the wife's worried ( she's a feeder! And chubby chaser..

Good news about the elbow!Hmmm. Elbows fine now and pain free, crooked but 90% pain free. Brompton wheels are wearing out at an alarming rate and expense due to the commute into Burnley.

The Langster Street does seem to be fixed/fixed. The standard Langster was always fixed/ss but even that's only showing a track cog in the SPECS now too.Was looking at those the other week as a possible 'simple' commuter, they come with fixed gear only don't they?

It's ok to put a freewheel onto a fixed hub, just a little bit gangsta the other way....I.e., a fixed onto freewheel thread.

TBH the freewheels Specialzed used to supply were utter garbage anyway, and my God they were a bugger to remove. There's no tool available so it was a case of knock the cover off, (bearings everywhere), flatten two sides of teeth in the vice, clamp it up tight and use the wheel as leverage, 'bloody 'orrible things they were 
My advice was always get the freewheel off a.s.a.p. and if you are going to use ss then fit a decent one that has a removal tool available and FFS use some copper grease!

It was the double fixed that grabbed my attention. It's unusual to have d/f on an off the peg and tbh most flip flop hubs have ss/f. That just leaves 25 mile ride home into the hills about 2 stone heavier than last time I rode fixed.....
...not gunna be easy!

Tried it, loved it, bought it, rode it home. Saddle's chafed me raw though.
It was a nice surprise when it was stealth Black, I thought I'd ordered the white with bullhorns. Nice new double clips and straps with some new lights and tape as well (bars aren't taped only gripped halfway for some reason) all in £713.....not bad at all.
The hills of Rossendale were no match for my masculine legs!
