I've got a Roubaix Comp. It's fantastically smooth and comfortable once you've sorted your saddle position. It feels 10 - 15% faster for the same effort than my old steel bike. I understand that Specialized Roubaix gear is designed for the rider who wants a more comfortable ride or the, *ahem* older rider and at 53 I've no complaints at all.

Any of you good forum peeps have one.
Very tempted....
Opinions.....?

Get one!

Or, once you get in that frame of mind, (the £££££££££ frame that is ) check out Cervelo RS. Now you're cooking! Investment for life Ian, investment - "a rare chance in these troubled times" - go for it!

(I know a good route in and around The Devils Punchbowl for a test ride!)

Already have test ridden it.. and it's a lovely bike... just trying to justify to my self
1: The cost
2: That I want to get into the drops

Lovely bike. Wish I'd had the extra capital when I bought mine. Typically, I bought the Allez and a week later someone was selling their one year old Roubaix with hardly a scratch on it.

PS I rarely use my drops, I have to say.
