Oh dear.
I've just been into my LBS.
They have a Roubaix sat on a pedestal.
It's my size.
It's a lovely shimmering black.
It feels very nice.

I'm very tempted.......

Did you ride it? It will feel nice. It's the fastest, most comfortable bike I've ever ridden.

Then I just need to create my salary sacrifice letter to do it on Cycle to Work.

Comfortable is not the word.. it's just like sitting in your favourite armchair.
Went out for a 40 mile blast this morning... it was heaven on wheels

Sorry Ian - my fear of doing something clumsy to a Roubaix (I've got yet more scrapes on the Sequoia), and smashing the frame, has meant I've gone Ti.

One shiny Planet X Sportive will be arriving soon!

No, it's the old Sequoia. Specialized have resurrected the name, for a different model.

Yes, the old one was a great bike. Shame it has had so few outings since the Planet X joined the family!
