Specialized Roubaix Elite cassette inquiry.

My Roubaix has a 11-32 cassette and, because I am not a great climber, I would like to change the cassette to 40 or even 42. Front ring is 34-52. Is it possible to do it without affecting the derailleur or would I need a Woolftooth to facilitate the changing of gear?

A 'Wolftooth' would be worth trying but you can get a non branded one for about a fiver.

I've used two of these to great effect, about three squids apiece off ebay.
