Thanks, I have been advised by a couple of shops that the Stirling may have a more stretched out/low position, due to the lower stem and longer TT and wheelbase?
I'll try it though.

You can easily change the stem.

True.
I have found somewhere (not too far away from home) with both a Stirling (M) and a Carnaby (different componants but exactly the same frame/geometry as Pimlico) in both M & L.
I'll be trying them all on Friday hopefully.^_^

Spares are only a problem if you insist on replacing like for like My Giant flatbar needed a new FSA bottom bracket last year, but I found it cheaper to swap to a SRAM one from my stock and source a hardly used SRAM crankset on Ebay.

The Boardman chap just wanted to keep the same gearing and was not bothered who's name was on it, but it was still a problem. Took three weeks to sort out and even then its not as we desired.

Another bike I have worked on needed Miche cogs and only they would fit and the wait is two years ! Its fine if you have your own stock.
