I had a tricross - not the S works and never loved it. Always felt heavy at the back

I think it would be perfect as a winter ride. The S Works Tricross is full carbon and pretty lightweight. As @Supersuperleeds said the entry level and sport models are pretty heavy, I have a Comp model with the lighter alloy frame and carbon rear stays, it’s a great bike and the S Works is far superior.

Edit - having had a quick google it seems as though depending on year of manufacture not all S Works Tricross have full carbon frames.
