DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
It looks like a 2008 QuickStep model, although with a Campag groupset; https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/specialized-tarmac-sworks-team-quick-175171497

If it all works, and is in decent condition, I'd suggest that's worth it.

Edited; I've found the Gumtree ad with more detail - definitely worth it. If you haven't bought it, I will

The frame's worth £200-250, the groupset about £200 and the other bits £100-150. As a whole bike I'd suggest it's probably worth about £350-400, hence why I'd be interested.
Well I’m off to see it this afternoon 😃 thank you for replying

Ah, the old 'misspelling' trick - Specialised instead of Specialized!

A friend used to pick up bargains on eBay by searching for misspelt items which other people were not finding.

That’s a great idea lol the lady who is selling doesn’t know anything about the bike as it was her ex husbands and she wants rid asap haha
Good luck!

Tarmac is the racy model, is that what you want?

Why you ask ?
Because it’s a race bike, with racy geometry, you may not find it the right bike if you’re looking for all day endurance rides, tours, pootles odd road with the kids.
guessing it’ll be limited in terms of tyre clearance being quite an old model, wont take decent mudguards etc.
however if you want a fast bike for summer club rides, sportives, even races, it might be just the ticket :okay:

Definitely won’t be doing any endurance on it I don’t like mudguards on bikes anyway if I’m honest I think they look ugly lol it’s purely a summer bike as I have a winter bike and just looking for something decent and cheap. Thank you for replying appreciate all your advice :-)

Pretty sure The frame is 2007 model, back then it will have been available as a frame set or a complete bike. If the latter it is likely that a lot of the components will have been swapped out over time as they have worn, so unlikely to be original factory spec. Looks a good buy for £250.

Thank you just on my way too view it. It looks like things have been swapped about as I’ve been looking at the specs and they are different to what the original should be.
