phone up, and ask them to explain it - they shouldn't have left you confused about whether you're wanting reading glasses or varifocals - that doesn't reflect too well on them.....hopefully a further conversation should get ride of any confusion

I apparently have one eye shortsighted and the other longsighted. Equates to having monocular vision most of the time. Rather explains why I was never any good at ball games.

me too - and ditto no good at ball games - never realised that the two might be linked! doh

Wife had a full refund on her new 3 pairs today..
prescription was wrong ,fitting was wrong lenses were incorectely centred..

Turns out her eyes were exactly the same as they were 2 years ago..she has thyroid eye disease and her eye pressures are 26..so you would think they would get the prescription right with a complex scrip..

too quick to sell bloody specs would be my guess
