,,by the way, I have just been outside for 2 hours trying to remove my shimano spd's from my bike...I got one off but the other seems to have been welded on or something. So far I have broken one spanner and one hammer in the process!

Ummm, this is probably a silly question, but are you sure you are trying to turn it the right way, does it have a left hand thread per chance?


As for spending an evening with Cathryn, I haven't actually read her blog but I ken whats in it as my wife keeps reading it out to me and complaining that Cathryn is not writing fast enough....
