Mrs A took a tumble (off her feet) yesterday afternoon and broke her wrist. She thought it was only bruised, but the pain became really bad, so off for an X-ray. That confirmed a multiple fracture. She has to go back to the hospital next week for a decision as to whether it will need pinning.

The daft thing was we were on the way to the pub! Mind you, she still carried on and took some of Dr Tom Wood's medicine.

Looks like I'm in for an intense period of training for the ironing handicap!............unless there are any gorgeous 25 year old blondes on the forum who are willing........ah well, I can dream, can't I?

Poor Mrs A - hope she's better soon.

Forget the ironing I hear the crumpled look is very popular!

Ironing..oh hell..............I used to do all the Ironing...a long time ago...got really hissed as none of it was mine........... hence I don't do any now...damp shirts are arranged to not need ironing as they dry...

Safer on a bike at the moment.....

Bad luck Mrs A, get well soon. She must be made of strong stuff if she thought it were sprained and it was multiply borked.

Is it the hand she clouts you round the lug with Gerry?

Nah...she's always been ambidextrous at that:sad:

You could tell her to use the other hand for ironing, but start running before you finish the sentence.

Hope she gets back to normal quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the best to Mrs A. When my Mum broke her wrist, she set to and worked out how to do lots of stuff one handed, for the challenge. She probably even did the ironing....

I can't help, I do ironing about once a year, if that.

Hoping Mrs A has a complete and speedy return to non-broken state.

But not so speedy that she doesn't get a decent period of utter devotion and slavish pandering to her every whim by you :becool:
