Spesh ground control stem HELP

evening folks, I've just picked up a Spesh Crossoads Sport for MrsKev and it's got an adjustable stem which is confusing the life out of me. It seems to be sprung, either that or it's broken. Does anyone know anything about them as I'd rather it didn't fall off when my wife is out on it , or at least when I'm not there

Can you post a photo and describe where you are getting movement?

Ive used a couple of adjustable stems using the ahead type, but i think yours is a quill stem with a pivot bolt to raise/lower the stem?

I had similar on a subway one , the stem had teeth/ ratchets in that you tightened up with a bolt like that .

I saw one, or something simikar, on a bike I was fettling for a friend.

There are two bolts. The side to side one, clearly visible in cybernight's photo, squeezes the two parts of the stem together, while the second, which is just visible, holds a serrated wedge in place. Loosen this before you adjust things.
