Agree fully with SiD!

It's not the same as being outside on the open road, but as a form of exercise it is, IMO, second to none. If you have a good instructor, motivational music (AC/DC, Scooter etc) and some attractive 'scenery', then you'll be in for a good sweaty session. :bicycle:

AC/DC and Scooter?! Sounds like a mix made deep in the bowels of hell.

I quite like spinning, but only for an hour. I was doing two hour sessions for a while and absolutely hated them.

Although, the spirit of iwbmattkyt was well and truly alive.

I think I'd probably enjoy a spinning class, seeing as I enjoy repetitive exercises and that (legs, not wrists ).
I might just take the chain off my bike though, and save a few bob

I agree with the others as it all depends on the teacher. Ours is really good and I cycle to the gym, have a 45 min spin class and then cycle to work every Thursday morning ^_^

First time I went I thought it would be easy, I was mistaken..... :hyper: Some lessons are solely standing and to ensure no one tries to sit down, the saddles are removed before the class starts

This year in June we had a sponsored 12 x 55 min classes back to back which was awesome.....
