It's a pity they censored it then. I'm sure that the film I saw in the 1980s was about half an hour longer than the one I saw 10 years ago. (and yes, it was the same film)

As thingy mentioned, A Mighty Wind is also worth a watch if you like Spaniel Tap, as are Waiting For Guffman, Best in Show and For Your Consideration.

The commentary on the Spinal Tap DVD is well worth it too... they do it in character, moaning about the 'cut job' DiBergi did on 'that film' as they refer to it.
