Spinning Bike

I bought a second hand Johnson JC5100 spinning bike. We had to take the cables at the front off to get the bike in the car and now I can't work out how they go back in. The brake is permanently on and I have no idea what to do to fix it. Any ideas?

If you take the spinning bike, place it at the kerbside ,somone will eventually take it away , then you can get back to real cycling.
