Not bad. You can't see the numbers underneath!Had a bit of trouble with the propellers but think I managed to salvage them. What do you think? It's for my brothers birthday tomorrow (well, today, after I've gone to sleep)

You just reminded me, there is some other letters and numbers on the wing and fuselage that I need to put on. I'll do it before I give it to him.Not bad. You can't see the numbers underneath!
My brother once bought me a fireman Smurf that had a hose that worked. I didn't realise my dolls house was made of compressed cardboard when I pretended it was on fire...very nice, a budding artist I reckon. Reminds me of the Airfix models I used to make as kid - Spifire, Hurricane etc all dangling from the bedroom ceiling from cotton strings. Then, when I got my first air gun, shot them all to smithereens.................as you do......![]()

Living near to Biggin Hill, sometimes the air is thick with Spitfires.
Our local fete was beaten up by a Mark XXVI the other week. There were grown men with tears in their eyes and it wasn't the sun.
I still want a Spitfire, a Catalina and a 747, the three best-looking aircraft ever.
