I agree, rubbish but why isn't Eddie Izzard getting more coverage, 27 marathons in 27 days. It may have been on earlier and I missed it but generally not heard much about it. He runs two on Sunday

I watched a good bit with him on, and I think there is a program on Sunday which as you know is his finish.

I did my bit for the cause by going for a meat eatathon with colleagues. We were so keen to take part that we paid for the food and didn't seek sponsorship.

We also didn't have time to watch the events on TV as we were actively engaged in the sport of waistline expansion.

lasted about 10 minutes, dreadful program with Davina and the other one. no really content considering some of the fund raising events. forget the back slapping, your wonderful programme and give more time to jo brand, eddie izzard etc

I find all this public charity just a little bit sanctimonius. I'm sure there are many people who prefer to give discretely to charidee and don't feel the need to publicise their generosity.

Did you win? Presumably the podium was a reinforced mega engineering job :giggle:
