The offshore gig allows for some free time, we will meet up for a ride somewhere sometime, just wait at the top of the climbs for me.

First time posting here. Black route was my first sportive, v.v tough, made worse by taking the wrong turn on to the blue route and ended up doing 98miles instead of 88. To make matters worse i didn't even have the sense to do an extra 2 miles for my first century!

Welcome to the forum matey and well done.

A couple of friends of mine deliberately added 12 or 13 miles to the black route to make it over a ton.

In my view the black route should be a metric an imperial century anyway!
