Sports Direct have lots, e.g. This is pretty simple and inexpensive

It's not a racer back though - slippy straps are the bane of my life. The joy of being short... Looks like where the Nike one falls flat as well...

Depending how much you want to pay there is a website called boobydoo and they specialise in sports bras, they go up to big sizes too which is useful for me as I am kilogramaticaly challenged lol

You could always try the boobband it looks like a giant elastic band but some of the reviews are good,
I know it’s annoying when the ones you like aren’t available anymore
Good luck with your search...

Thanks, I'll check that out. :okay:

I'm at the other end of the boob size spectrum, but the roads around here are pretty bad and it's just more comfortable to cycle with my, umm, lack of assets, kept firmly under control.

Well, I ended up in Sports Direct this morning while in town - I ducked in to escape a biblical deluge - and I tried on and bought two pairs of these:

https://www.sportsdirect.com/lonsdale-crop-top-ladies-423195?colcode=42319501

Got a white one and a pink (bright rose) one. Figured at that price it was worth a punt as it has most of what I wanted i.e. racer back, rear mesh panel, no underwire or padding, colours that aren't crazy. While the cups aren't as defined as my old Matalan bras or the non-racer back Lonsadale bra, they seem to offer a good level of support. They're also not as floppy as a basic crop top and seem reasonably well made.

It doesn't mean I'm going to stop looking, though...

And will report back when I've had some wear out of these - and after they've gone through the laundry a few times. First impressions seem pretty good.

Quick update...

Comfy in the shop, but issues at home after an afternoon's wear - typical. :banghead: So they're going back.

Band size is fine, but the cup does come up on the small side. (Boob vanity sizing maybe, which appears to be the opposite of jeans vanity sizing...)

It's fine initially, but doesn't feel so great after a while, which is not so good for all-day wear. So will likely have to go up a cup size and see if that makes a difference.

On the plus side, a big heads up to @florencethnurse - the boobydoo website is mega when it comes to troubleshooting bra fit.

I wasn't aware you can return underwear once worn.
I've got a big laundry style basket full of ill fitting bras and knickers, accumulated through the years!

The lady on the till said an exchange or return shouldn't be an issue. The back of the till receipt says that I have 28 days to do as long as the product is in the packaging and is in saleable condition. Packaging is just a cardboard box that slides open, so no problems there.

Return is a credit note, but I can use that for things like base layers, socks etc if I decide the bras don't suit me.

I think that only applies to knickers and swimwear going by what I've seen on shop signs. Might be wrong, but...

Every woman probably has a drawer full of uncomfy undies. I know I have. (And I swear the things breed in there as well...)

No problems at all returning the bras. Was the same lovely lady on the till as yesterday. Guess it depends on the staff in the shop...

Anyways, after giving myself a crash course on troubleshooting bra fitting last night, I ended up going down a band size and up two cup sizes - the 34B turned into a 32D....

That's just so much more comfortable.

Lesson learnt here is the following: just because you measure up as a particular size, don't assume that the bra of that size will fit / be comfortable. The pinching straps meant that the band was too big and the side spill was... well yeah...

We'll see how we get on with these. But as I said upthread, I'm going to keep looking regardless.

Yes, if you get measured in one shop, you will be that size only in that particular shop.
We need to keep a database of bra sizes!
