I don't suppose I'm the only CC-er who visits one or two other forums occasionally.

There's currently a thread on the BBC's Point of View forum about a programme called Storyville: Bare Fist Fighting (which I didn't watch) which seems to have divided opinion, between "a moving and thought provoking documentary on the harsh but lovably families portrayed. " and "it didn't relate to me at all. And as for "lovable", strewth! I'd had enough after a few minutes." Message 8:
"A timely warning against the dangers of inbreeding. I especially enjoyed the battling fat grandads."

Set me to thinking - why not have a thread for good posts spotted on other forums? If it raised a smile (or made you think), why not paste it here so we can enjoy it too?

f1technical.net is a very geeky forum full of gurney flap angles and other such fascinating topics, but it does throw up the odd gem.

This long thread follows a design student making a perfect model of a Red Bull F1 car out of paper. When I say "perfect" I mean it, this guy's attention to detail is stunning. Half-way through the thread he reveals that Red Bull have got in touch to say they're so impressed they want to offer him a year-long placement with their design team. Skip to page 12 to see the finished model.
