Hi Chris.

I was chatting to a couple of pals yesterday who did this year's SITD. They had done the old route a couple of times but this was their first time on the new one. They said how much they enjoyed the event. I had warned them about those steep climbs at Draughton but they were still surprised by them!

One of them commented on how good it was for cycling that there are still people like you who are prepared to give up their time to organise great events like SITD, a feeling that I share. So - thanks from all of us!

All being well, I will be fit enough to ride Season of Mists again this year and if I do, I will make sure that I beat the time limit so keep those tables stocked up with sandwiches and cake!
