we have rose bushes , clematis both budding and the lambs tail/catkins are out !

one of the wardens at the london wetland centre found a slow worm last weekend... i've also had trouble getting my rescue grass snake to brumate as it's too mild. she's currently in a box in a wardrobe to try and get her cool... it's still 17 degrees in her enclosure.

it won't be good for bats if it stays mild either.

We had locally picked daffs on the table over Christmas. I must go and look for some snowdrops at the weekend.

on todays walk we saw loads of catkin and buds forming on trees and bushes . plus a selection of birds including long tailed tits, blue & great tits , egrets and herons and the normal ducks and geese

Yep our Daffs are about 6 inches up.

I saw some flower shoots on a grave in the local cemetery on New Year's Day, which are most likely Daffodils and I saw cut and bunched daffodils for sale in a local supermarket yesterday.
