Hey it's apollo179, haven't seen him for ages.
I gave up on the board after angelfishsolo got banned after being goaded by that MrPaul idiot.
Also management has ruined the forum now with the microdivision into a thousand diferent sub forums imho.

I ran over a squirrel once. When I looked in my rear view mirror he was on his back - the bottom half of his body was flat and his front legs were desperately clawing at the air. I still squirm when I think about it.

I found one sitting on my landing. Wretched cat had brought it in and then forgotten about it. Was liberated but injured so I doubt it made it

I have to trap them at work. We have a parking area in a very leafy part of town. The little angels gnaw through fuel lines on the cars. They've done three now. I assume it's more to do with a dental care regime than a pertol/diesel drinking desire they have.

We've never had that problem at work & we have plenty of squirrels in the grounds.

Are they Gremlins in disguise?

Maybe the Newnham squirrel has a taste for these things........
I don't think they stay on the ground long enough, we have at least 2 domestic Ocelots (they're are fierce & more than capible of sending a fox on it's way  ) guarding at least one half of the West Cambs site. Plus there are lots of nice bins to nibble on which let them get to apple cores, unfinished sandwiches & the treasure precious enough to induce a squiggly melley - a half eaten mars/snickers bar!

And you have a few black squirrels along the cyclepath, plus at least 1 black rabbit
