Deep fried in chilli flour. An experiment thought up by my fella and the local butcher!
My parents house suffers periodically, and they don't ever release them.... A pair moved in at the beginning of November, and one is gone but the other is proving to be more intelligent but is stealing all their loft insulation!Did the greasy pole stuff............really funny.
You can buy squirrel proof feeders at a cost.
Mine were getting braver & braver........on the conservatory roof then on the main roof. The last thing you want is a squirrel in your attic.......it can cost you LOADS of money to repair electric cables etc.
No help to you but I found a 22 rifle a good solution.
BTW.........do you know that if you trap a squirrel it is illegal to release them as they are vermin......rats with bushy tails.

the army teaches their squaddies how to catch, kill and eat squirrels as part of survival training, very good eating according to my son in law.
Maybe it'll keep 'em going till the café opens.Very good if they get they can't work out how to get out of an urban park I suppose.
