BTW.........do you know that if you trap a squirrel it is illegal to release them as they are vermin......rats with bushy tails.

My parents house suffers periodically, and they don't ever release them.... A pair moved in at the beginning of November, and one is gone but the other is proving to be more intelligent but is stealing all their loft insulation!

yes daughter in law is, a vet.i am aware of what's what ...etc..
she had a squirellin the loft..son sat up there with my air rifle..but in the end we trapped him..
i took him to a wood and let him go..i just cant kill anything anymore....well maybe humans but thats personal lol.

the army teaches their squaddies how to catch, kill and eat squirrels as part of survival training, very good eating according to my son in law.

Very good if they get they can't work out how to get out of an urban park I suppose.
