SRAM 10 speed connectors

Fitted a new chain and cassette last night, but then had to shorten the chain by an extra link.
Reading the SRAM instructions it says the powerlinks for 10 speed are one use only and should be replaced after using. Looking around though they are anything upto £11 a pair
Anyway I have had to re use and it seems to go back together ok but
Does anyone here re-use their 10 speed powerlink connectors

I understand this only applies to 10 speed and not 8 or 9 speed

Because of the one use links SRAM use, for 10spd I'd rather use KMC or Wippermann chains.

They are a pain to undo but I have used them twice and it was fine.
