Well what an original idea! Single ring with a wide range cassette and long arm derailleur. Talk about marketing blx. Dountless certain people will have to have this "new idea". Boy, have we got news for you, this was about in the 60s, 70s, 80s. Then the bikes were called TT bikes, or cyclo cross in the winter. Still there will be some poor mug taken in, then wonder why their chain wear is ridiculous and the chain tends to drop off the single ring (where there appears to be no "guide" to keep it from doing so. Anything to sell a few more bits of kit, and no doubt it will succeed. Not with this miserable old git!
