I managed to pop the adjuster screw out of my derailleur. Took it to the LBS and the guy claimed he had reinserted it. Ride today was awful, gears shifting was clunky and wouldn’t go into the biggest cog on the cassette. Also, no clicks when turning the barrel adjuster and no tension although it did make the changes worse. Does it look missing?
I’ll go back to the shop and challenge but if the missing screw is lost, are they easy to buy as I don’t want to ask for my money back and end up having to pay far more for an alternative at a more competent place.
