sram or shimano ???

i am going to build a bike with my carbon frame..

i want to put a flat bar something like carbon bontrager....

i want black shifters & levers but all the shimano stuff is mainly silver/ally

would sram be ok

Why wouldn't SRAM be okay?

Is that a flat bar frame? They usually have a longer TT than drop bar frames.

Both companies do shifters in black for flat bars and you can easily get some nice carbon brake levers in black from eg TRP.

I know Shimano do black chainsets as do FSA not sure about SRAM.
