SRAM rival with 34T cassette

i have a SRAM Rival mech that looks like this. currently 32T cassette, will it handle a 34T

also can I use Shimano cassette and chain I have in stock?

Yes and Yes I think having used SRAM cassettes+chain with shimano....

You can definitely use the chain and cassette. The old SRAM wifli (medium cage) was iirc 32t I suspect 34t would work though.

just need to google chain length or is there an easy way if i have the old chain and am moving from 32 to 34

I have a105 medium Shimano with 34 with no problems Actually I tried it on a Ultegra rear mechand it would have been Ok it would have only required a slight adjustment of the b screw Unfortunately I had already bought the 105

managed to get the cassette off using an extension bar and wearing gloves just in case! but also have bought a pair of "cassette pliers", an item I never knew existed along with a cassette tool that has the tool held into the handle (current one is a loose tool and a big wrench. (That and the old skool chainwhip had ample opportunity for slippage!). New system is a revelation
