SRAM x5 shifter

I have a boardman hybrid and today I have been unable to shift from the small ring to large on the front derailier. The shifter appears to be not clicking/indexing.
Does the shifter need replacing? It doesnt index with no tension on cable either.

Could try blasting it full of something like GT85, has done the trick in the past when the bits inside get a bit stuck, but otherwise sounds like a new shifter needed

I was looking for some kind of access place to squirt a lube in. But couldnt see one.
On the hunt for a shifter i think
