My local Evans is showing that you can buy online and collect in 1 to 2 days.
I was thinking of getting one myself. But the price is a big commitment. Showing at £699.
I have the edge 800, a cadence sensor and an hrm. Price is a bit heavy, that's what is stopping me.
There isn't even a cheaper alternative. The Garmin one incorporated in a peddle is something like £1300.
I'll have to think a bit more.

I would buy from a specialist outlet like www.cyclepowermeters.com even if it means waiting a little while.

Aftersales is very important with power meters!

As much as the manufacturers would love you to believe they are, they simply are not fit and forget bits of kit!

Why exactly do you want a power meter in the 1st place? Have you read up on them much? I would suggest reading "Racing and Training with a Power Meter" by Hunter Allen and Andrew Coggan before you bother buying one!
