Any stamp collectors interested in this before I take it down the chazza?

That is a kind offer.
I’m going off on a tangent now…… I collected G B stamps from the age of thirteen until my late twenties and have boxes of mint, used, first day covers and presentation packs. No local dealer(s) or traders are interested in buying the lot off me. I also have loads of cigarette cards and tea packet cards.
Can anyone on this forum give me some clues as to how to sell them ? I’m not looking for a fortune but I think I would like an amount of money for the lot as whoever buys them from me is going to re-market them.
I’m in north Essex if there’s any interest from a forum member.

I used to have a lot including some quite rare Victorian ones. I’d acquired them from a Brewery Director who I used to visit when my aunt was cleaning for him. He offered me ‘swaps’ and commented I had a good eye. I auctioned them with lots of first day covers and other things but only got a couple of hundred pounds. My mistake was to use a general auction house rather than a more specific one. Have a look at Stanley Gibbons.

I inherited my dad's collection of stamps from before the war. Nothing special and did the same in the early sixties. But gave up collecting when they starting bringing out specials multiple times per year. Became too expensive to carry on.

Recently though, they've issued special, frame mounted stamps to celebrate the likes of David Bowie, Queen and the Rolling Stones. These look good hanging on our hall way walls.
