Hi guys. Hope your having a good night. Not sure if its been done already but seeing lots of these on the Taff trail lately. Would love a go. Whats you thoughts on these ?.

I saw one on the road reCently and he was doing a fair lick. I wouldn't mind a try. Pricy though.

Not sure how efficient it would be in comparison wit a 'normal' bike.
I've seen several around on organised rides, but never just out and about.

It'd be fun the try one out though!

An Elliptigo. I love clever engineering so I wouldn't mind giving one a go.

I know they are capable enough that there is a group who Audax on them (including the seriously serious rides such as London-Edinburgh-London ). Quite an experience I'd imagine

On their website they make mention of it avoiding the discomfort of a conventional bicycle. Er, what discomfort would that be then?

Looking at it i'd say if you hit a pot hole or a large enough stone you'd be going over the handlebars. The wheels are too small and you're too high up for it to be safe.

I think that they look fun and wouldn't mind a go on one. There is no freewheeling though (is there?) and I don't fancy going down a big hill on one

Given choice between saddle pain and foot/leg pain, I think I'll take what little saddle soreness I experience over this two-wheeled circus act. Take that money, and buy a Brompton, or some other such expensive bike. You know you want to.
