couldn't give you road numbers but a decent map will give you plenty of options for quiet lanes. really good options for lanes and a lovely route, I know cos I tried every which way whilst working in Stansted and travelling from Milton Keynes.

I usually draw a straight line between the places I need to go from and to and see what is close to that.
