As the World Cup has started what soccer stars are there who would have been in the same same year as you at school who are roughly your same age. Maradonna, Gary Linaker, Peter Beardsley, Chris Waddle, Clive Allen and Gary Shaw the prolific Aston Villa striker who retired prematurely would have been in my year at school.. Also Steve Cram is about my age. My year was a golden era for sport. As for pop stars I think Boy George and Tony Hadley would be about the same age. There is that feeling of how come these people are playing for England, breaking world records and getting to the top of the charts and I'm not, where did it all go wrong.
