I think the whole genre is imaginative and rather brilliant, even though I wouldn't be seen dead wearing anything like they do
I'm planning on building something like this (with USB charging ports, of course) for my daughter for Christmas. She isn't particularly a steampunk fan, but will, I think (hope?), appreciate it

Well, I built it, and it looks pretty good. The keyholes at the front are USB charging points and the bulbs are dimmable by the switch
I need to smarten up the hole where a lock used to be at the front, and give it a good polish. But overall, I rather it
