Would it be wrong to put steel forks on an alluminum frame?????

I dont really want to put suspension forks on the mtb and not sure i want to go the china route for carbon forks. So looking at other options

What frame is it ?

If it's an MTB, have a look at the One-One forks at Planet-X ones

I quite fancy the carbon ones there myself and am considering swapping the ones on my SS to those

its an mtb, but with straight steerer tube and the axle to crown is too long on the for the 29er fork and too short on the 26er...........it neeeds to be 465 A2C
