My winter ride is steel on steel
Carbon gives a plusher ride.
Oh it will melt but a Carbon bike would have gone up in flames before it got hot enough to melt Steel.I have this idea of a steel bike melting in the heat. Probably never happen mind you.![]()

I have this idea of a carbon fork shattering into a cloud of dust upon hitting a pothole and I cannot shake it. Probably would never happen but prefer a steel fork on a steel bike.
