Another beautiful steel steed, again to blow your budget, would be an Enigma. Although they made names for themselves with titanium, they make some beautiful racy stuff out of steel - 853, 953, XCR, Columbus Spirit...really lovely rides.

My next bike has to be a Colnago Master or perhaps a Cinelli Supercorsa.

After drooling over various frames on this thread my sensible head has kicked in and I've ordered a Charge Juicer Mid, heavily discounted at Wiggle: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/charge-juicer-mid-2012/

Against my own advice I've ordered a bike without even sitting on it, but it looks as if everything is about right geometry wise (though I'll probably swap the cranks for some 165mm's).

Fingers crossed it suits me!

Over in the US there's a big market for hand built steel frames, some beauties getting made. Have a google for the California Hand Built Bicycle Show that was on a few months ago. Some stunning frames also from a guy called Brian Baylis - a 5 year wait apparently.
