Yeah, just reading this elsewhere, bit young. There's some good tunes in their back-catalogue, I think one of the things I liked about them was the studio technical excellence, a sonic obsession!

Fair weathered,fair minded but easily persuaded.
So very shocked and sad. These two played such a big part of my life. From being smuggled into one of their gigs when I was 3yrs old by my uncle and his mates who were supposed to be baby sitting me to seeing them when they next returned to the UK when I was 32. Their music really was the soundtrack to my pre teen years and has stayed with me always.

RIP Walter, thank you for the music, memories and influences on so many bands.:cry:

Sad news, an iconic band with so many great songs.

Apparently their name came from a sex toy in William Burroughs 'Naked Lunch', one of my from favourite books from my teens.
