[Stem length] for road bike

I have an 80 mm stem on the commuter, yes the frames a bit big for me really but its right with the stem that size and gives me the same fit as my other smaller framed bike .

it's because i have very long legs 87cm and a short torso with short arms so it's difficult to find the perfect size for me.
ps: i'm 5ft 11

Similar here both my road bikes are different sizes as listed by manuf. One is S/M the other a L . Geometry very similar , however just put a 130mm stem on the S/M up from a 110 . Feels much better now looking to do the same on the L sized bike.
Just see what's comfy could pay some mullah for a proper bike fit but I honestly don't think there is need to do that .
