I was checking the set up of my front mech shifter today when all of a sudden it stopped working , the levers were not doing anything and were loose !
I put the brake on so i could look inside and compare the inside to the other side and i noticed that the cable had come of its track inside
.
So i undid the cable from the mech to give me some slack and managed with the help of a flat screwdriver to wiggle the cable + cable end back the where they should be , i was cursing as i only just got the bike and promised SWMBO that i would not need to spend any money on it .
It all works again now thank the (insert belief /non belief figurehead depending on persuasion )
