I'm sorry if I'm giving you the wrong impression. I haven't said it's simple but that it should be possible. I would say I have yet to find anything that is difficult to achieve on a Wahoo. A quick Google for "display mahle x35 battery level on wahoo elemnt" delivers the instructions below. The same Google search showed me a Facebook page where Ribble users are discussing how they can view e-battery levels on their Garmins. This is a very basic function when using an e-bike. I'd be surprised if a Wahoo doesn't offer the feature.
I've done my best. Good luck.
Steps to Display Mahle X35 Battery on Wahoo Elemnt
- 1. Pair your E-Bike:
- On your Wahoo ELEMNT app, go to Settings > Sensors.
- Turn on your Mahle X35 e-bike and make sure your Elemnt is on and the bike is in Bluetooth range.
- Look for a new sensor named "E-BIKE" in the Unsaved Sensors list and select it to pair. You might be asked for a PIN code found on the bike's TCU controller.
- 2. Add the Battery Data Field:
- In the ELEMNT App, navigate to Settings > Pages.
- Select the page where you want to add the data.
- Select Data Field and scroll down to the E-Bike or Power section.
- Choose the "E-Bike Battery" option to add it to your screen.
- 3. Check the Battery Level:
- The Elemnt device will now display the e-bike's battery percentage directly on your chosen data screen.
- You can also check the battery level on the Mahle iWoc controller on your bike's frame, where a colored LED will show the approximate charge (White for 75%+, Green for 50-75%, Amber for 25-50%, Red for <25%, and flashing Red for <15% or <10%).
I have paired the e bike and added a new page. But I don't see any data fields relating to ebike or battery levels
Edit. I have now got it too display some battery data ! Problem is this is showing a significantly different figure to the BC900 .
Although the mules remaining is showing the same.
Back to the stick on Garmin thingy !!!
