I've just uppped my commute from a flat three miles of cycle lanes to eight hilly country miles and when I get to work I'm naturally a glowing a bit, which I would expect, but recently the 'T-zone' on my face stings like a bugger.

Any ideas why or how I can minimise it?

Good moisturiser, especially on windy/cold/wet/sunny/any days! Wind is the worst - been out a few times across the moor, only to find me glowing red with windburn when I get home!

We've got plenty of baby nappy barrier cream at home, it worked wonders when my knackered old gloves were making my hands really dry, so I might try that.

I was worried in case the stinging was all the good salts leeching out of my skin or something daft!

I have stuff from Avon,"Winter Protect" moisturiser or something like that, does a good job protecting my rosey red cheeks which get dry, sore and cracked in windy conditions.
