I wasn't sure whether this was an early April Fools joke.

Checkout the video at the bottom of the article - hilarious, particularly the on-the-move deployment.

The only redeeming feature would be if "coche" were pronounced "cock".

There's an English version about the product here.

I am surprised that the drivers saw it. It doesn't look very visible.

Blimey!
I might patent my idea for deterring tailgater's > attaching a can of expanding foam to the rear mudguard

Doesn't look great on the bike but it seems to work..... I think it's a good idea.

I'm sure one can see it better from a car approaching the object.

Excellent device.

Ride in the gutter and it'll make cars cross over the central white line to avoid you  .

Ride in primary and it'll stop all overtakes AND the oncoming traffic :wahhey: .

Now, where can I get one?

The first image that entered my head when I saw that Spanish one was of a car full of chavs grabbing it and pulling the cyclist over and then roaring off laughing ... basically, if a driver wants to behave like a c@ck towards a cyclist out of sheer bloody-mindedness, then there's not a lot you can do to stop it.

I like the fact that it's adjustable ... but it made me realise just how conditioned I've become to closer overtakes as I.5 m looked absolutely huge. I suspect I'm happy if it is about 75 cm, though it probably depends on the road, as I'm used to travelling in town with cars passing slower and closer. My other worry is whether an overtaking cyclist would see and forcing them to overtake me by 1.5 would seem excessive.
