Now ain't that weird. This morning I climbed Cotman's Ash Lane which is the next road along and suffered the same problem. I was thinking it was because of the tree cover.

There are lots of really great climbs in the North Downs. This morning, my route had taken me from Eynsford memorial, up the hill and after about 5 miles of climbing, dropped down Cotman's Ash. So I might have crossed with you about 12:00?

Vigo must be the hardest one on my patch, closely followed by Exedown. Birling also has a reputation, but I seem to only take routes that use Birling for its descent.

I live in Longfield and work in Kings Hill, so when I commute, these hills are on my route!
Cheers Keith

The auto pause is configurable and stops / starts at the speed that you have set

Go into the settings and select "When stoppoed"

Should solve the problem

Must add, my very first road bike, a fixie, was a "Hill Special"! Not that it was special for hills. It was named after its frame maker. But it was a good bike.

I was home by 11. Went to Yalding for a bacon and egg sarnie. Returned via the Pilgrims Way, up Cotmans, Tinker Pot, Knatts Valley,.. now I usually go through Farningham Village and past the memorial and right up to Crockenhill, but today I want through Eynsford and over the bridge then up Crockenhill,

Birling is a bloody big bitch... we did it recently 190k into a 200k audax.. that was pleasant

Nope. Already set to stop AT 0. As I said, I think it is due to the mass of tree cover that covers these roads. It's almost dark.
