When I was a lad, my bikes (yes same ones I have now) lived in my bedroom. I got married, and before kids, my best bike lived in a spare room (2 rooms spare). Kid 1 comes along, and best bike went in garage (yes another room that was wife's sewing kit)... got ground anchor, killed my Dad's big drill (ahem) fitting it, and bikes have to live in the garage. I've always Been paranoid about my Herety and Ribble's security, more so now as they are 'vintage' like me 
but it worked recently when some scum bag tried to get in my garage - i.e. you ain't. ! And they are locked to the floor. It's a pain in the ass to get the bikes out, but you have to do it. !
