Strange braking - bike pulls to one side

Taint the brakes. Bent frame as prev. suggested, bent forks, front wheel out of dish or rear wheel misaligned. If any of the above the bike wont ride straight with hands off the bars anyway. Very strange. Might it have something to do with the brake cable itself if its too short.


Reading this made me think of a cable route being wrong maybe,?

Thanks for the suggestions all, turns out no-one got it!

After having a good old clean of the bike, and I mean a really good clean I suddenly thoguht, why not do the headset while you're at it? Problem found.

Sadly undergreased bearing races.

So I whipped them out and gave them a good scrub and a hearty smear of grease, the problem is totally sorted. The bike tracks true now, and it was great braking and not having to resist it pulling left.
