Strange looking bike???????????????????????

Whilst out and about today,saw a strange bike coming towards me.As it was facing me and going at fair lick i had no chance for a photo.
It was on the A6 at Brougon near Prestom.
Lime green in colour.
Had pedals/footboards like a cross trainer but hinged from the rear.
Not sure if i was a homebuild but it was certainly unusual and fast moving.
Could be two threads here
1. Does anyone know what it was or has anyone seen it?
2. Show us your photo of a strange bike you have seen.
