I've seen Jubilee clips used to secure the bottle cage before

I've found these are useful

Decathlon - B'TWIN Universal Bottle Cage Mount - Black

but even with the straps at their limit, they are just too small for my Hase boom, so I secured them in place with oversize jubilee clips

Ebay - Hose clips pipe clamps genuine British made 70-90mm, 1 clip, jubilee size 4

As per Emma's comment, these avoid scratching the frame; they're tight and secure enough to mount bottle cage and full 700ml bottle doesn't wobble.

I have travelled a few thousand miles now this is my first deta I love the turning circle it's brilliant. It tows the trailer well I spent a lot of money for the roller bag it is ok.The seat for me is disappointing after about 40 odd miles it gets uncomfortable the frame at the front keeps hitting the underside of you legs bloddy annoying.I have a diff fitted which makes it brilliant off road this trike will go anywhere. All in all im am a very happy bunny.
