Does anyone know where I can get the metal straps which go on the trike boom so I can mount a bottle. Hope that makes sense.

I've seen Jubilee clips used to secure the bottle cage before

depending on diameter, there are some nice stainless steel"P" clips with rubber inserts . Would protect the frame from scratching .

but even with the straps at their limit, they are just too small for my Hase boom, so I secured them in place with oversize jubilee clips

As per Emma's comment, these avoid scratching the frame; they're tight and secure enough to mount bottle cage and full 700ml bottle doesn't wobble.

I have used Halfords Elite bottle cage straps on 2 of my bents, one for mounting along the boom tube. Been ok. The Decathlon mount looks good though.

If that's a Hase Trigo you have, I'd be very interested to hear what you think of it. It does seem a comparative bargain for a trike, and can be electrified at a later date.

I have travelled a few thousand miles now this is my first deta I love the turning circle it's brilliant.It tows the trailer well I spent a lot of money for the roller bag it is ok.The seat for me is disappointing after about 40 odd miles it gets uncomfortable the frame at the front keeps hitting the underside of you legs bloddy annoying.I have a diff fitted which makes it brilliant off road this trike will go anywhere.All in all im am a very happy bunny.
